Jewellery Care & Preservation
Maintain the immaculate luster and structural safety of your treasures across generations.
22K & 18K Gold Care
Pure gold is inherently soft and can acquire subtle wear marks if handled roughly. Protect high-karat gold by avoiding contact with chlorine pools, hot tubs, detergents, and abrasive cleansers.
- Clean periodically in a bowl of lukewarm water with a few drops of mild chemical-free soap.
- Use a soft baby toothbrush to lightly remove dust from filigree crevices.
- Dry with a soft lint-free micro-chamois cloth without rubbing vigorously.
Diamond & Solitaire Care
While diamonds are the hardest known natural mineral, their surface naturally attracts skin oils and hand lotions, muting their optical brilliance over time.
- Soak diamond rings for 15 minutes in warm water mixed with mild degreasing soap.
- Gently brush underneath the pavilion where dust collects to restore prismatic fire.
- Check prong settings every six months to verify stone tightness.
Kundan, Polki & Jadau Care
Kundan and Jadau jewellery require specialized preservation due to the 24K gold foil settings and lac cores beneath each uncut gem.
- Never immerse Kundan or Polki jewellery in water. Moisture can tarnish the underlying gold foil.
- Wipe exclusively with a completely dry microfiber jewel cloth.
- Keep silica gel moisture absorbers inside your storage chests.
Natural Pearls & Gemstones
Organic pearls, natural emeralds and rubies have porous surfaces vulnerable to synthetic chemicals.
- Follow the golden rule: "Last to put on, first to take off."
- Never spray perfumes, deodorants or hairsprays near pearls.
- Re-string pearl necklaces every 2 to 3 years to prevent silk thread fraying.
